These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Eyes on Skin Spa ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By booking an appointment, using our website, or purchasing services from Eyes on Skin Spa, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
1. Services Description
Eyes on Skin Spa offers professional skincare and aesthetic treatments provided by licensed estheticians and other qualified professionals. All treatments are performed in compliance with Virginia state regulations for esthetic services.
Treatments include but are not limited to: facials, HydraFacial MD, chemical peels, RF microneedling, laser treatments, and other advanced skincare procedures.
2. Health and Safety
By booking a treatment, you represent that:
- You are in good general health and do not have any medical conditions that would make treatment unsafe
- You have disclosed all relevant allergies, medications, and health conditions to our team
- You are not pregnant (for certain treatments)
- You have not recently used retinoids, chemical treatments, or had procedures within recommended timeframes
- You will follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions provided
It is your responsibility to disclose accurate health information. Our team may ask detailed questions about your medical history—please answer truthfully to ensure your safety.
3. Consultation and Consent
All clients must participate in a thorough consultation before treatment. During this consultation, we will:
- Assess your skin and discuss your concerns and goals
- Explain the recommended treatment and expected results
- Discuss potential side effects and downtime
- Answer any questions you may have
By proceeding with treatment after consultation, you provide informed consent and assume all associated risks.
4. Expected Results and Disclaimers
While our treatments are highly effective, results vary based on individual skin type, age, lifestyle, and genetics. We cannot guarantee specific results. Some treatments require a series of sessions to achieve optimal results.
Results are not permanent. Maintenance treatments are typically recommended to sustain benefits. We encourage clients to discuss realistic expectations during their consultation.
5. Booking and Cancellations
Booking: Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. Online booking constitutes a confirmed reservation.
Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the treatment cost. No-shows will be charged the full treatment fee.

6. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods. Prices are subject to change without notice, but we will confirm pricing when you book.
All prices listed on our website are in US dollars. Additional taxes may apply based on Virginia state requirements.
For membership plans, payment is due monthly on the anniversary of your enrollment date. Memberships renew automatically unless you cancel with 30 days' notice.
Package Expiration: All service packages expire one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions after that date are forfeited.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not provided once a service has been rendered. If you are unsatisfied with a treatment, please contact us within 48 hours to discuss your concerns. We will do our best to address issues or provide a credit for a future treatment.
Memberships may be canceled after the initial 4-month commitment with 30 days' notice. Refunds will not be issued for partially used months.
8. Liability and Assumption of Risk
While we maintain the highest safety standards, all medical and aesthetic treatments carry inherent risks. Potential side effects may include redness, swelling, sensitivity, hyperpigmentation, and in rare cases, more serious reactions.
You assume all risks associated with treatment and agree to hold Eyes on Skin Spa, our estheticians, and our staff harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries resulting from treatment (except in cases of gross negligence or violation of professional standards).
9. Medical Advice Disclaimer
Information provided by our team during consultations and treatments is professional skincare and esthetic advice, not medical advice. If you have serious skin conditions, allergies, or medical concerns, we recommend consulting with a dermatologist before treatment.
Our estheticians are not physicians and cannot diagnose skin conditions or prescribe medications. We can recommend topical products and skincare routines based on professional expertise.
10. Photographs and Testimonials
We may ask for permission to photograph before and after treatment results for our records and marketing purposes. You have the right to decline. Any photographs used for marketing will only be used with your written consent, and your identity will be kept confidential.
11. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits use of the website
- Post offensive, abusive, or defamatory content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Upload viruses or malware
We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate your access to the website.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos, is the property of Eyes on Skin Spa or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our explicit permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eyes on Skin Spa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eyes on Skin Spa, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Arlington County, Virginia.
16. Changes to These Terms
Eyes on Skin Spa may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
